Lore is a media brand for ambitious girls and women — the ones who read, argue, write, and have never quite fit inside the magazines built for them. We are published by EmpoweredGirlhood, and we are, at long last, on the record.

Here is what we do. The Lore Daily is a short editorial dispatch from our in-house team, Monday through Friday. It runs at the top of this page every morning. It is the first thing we publish each day. It is the thing we would text you if we had your number.

Alongside the Daily, we publish contributor pieces from writers around the world. If you have a piece in you — an argument, an essay, a confession, a dispatch — you can pitch us. Our editors read every pitch. If it's a yes, you write it, we publish it here under your name, and we share it with our readers.

There is nowhere else on the internet quite like this. Nobody has been giving teenage girls a page. So we made one. And a page, once it exists, tends to attract everyone who's ever needed one.
